Employee Expectations:
“Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men.” Col. 3:23 “Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned.” Titus 2:7-8a

Core Values:

·       Care for and invest in your students as both musicians and as people. Care enough to learn about them individually. Show them the love of Christ as you give them excellent instruction in music.

Music Lessons Teach:

·       Responsibility. It is the students’ job to have all materials at the lesson and to be prepared for each lesson. This means at-home practice. You will never get proficient if you only touch your instrument once a week.

·       Independence. The goal of lessons is to develop the freedom to learn and grow in musical ability to achieve their personal best, including at home, without the teacher present.

·       Self-Motivation. Advance the skill of discipline through the enthusiasm and drive that comes with mastering an instrument.

·       Hunger to Learn. Aspire to grow in knowledge and talent each day to master their instrument.

·       Strive for Excellence. Learn to accomplish the best work in every part of life.

·       Perseverance. Continue through challenges it will result in an improved presentation.

·       Passion: Gain great enthusiasm for music and the creative world around us through the love and zeal shown by our teachers.

·       Dignity and Integrity: Cultivate confidence and self-trust by strengthening presentation skills and an appreciation for hard work and dedication.
