KP Music Studio Policies:

·      Be on time for your lessons – missed time will not be made up so that everyone can stay on schedule.

·      If you miss half of your lesson, you are considered a no-show. Teachers may continue to the next student or go home at the end of the day if you are 15+ minutes late to your 30-minute lesson.

·      Payment is due at the beginning of each month for the entirety of the month. KP Music Studio accepts cash, Venmo, checks made out to “KP Music Studio,” and debit/credit cards. There is a service fee for cards.

·      Monthly fees stay consistent for every month. Most months have 4 weeks in them, some have 5, some have 3. All fees even out by the end of the year, totaling 48 paid weeks. The recital takes place of regular lessons during “Recital Week.”

·      If you miss a lesson and request a makeup, we will do our best to fit you in during the same week you cancelled. This can only be done if there is another cancellation. We cannot promise a makeup. Teachers are paid for the original time you reserved whether you are present or absent.

·      Students are required to practice at home. Our suggestion is to play each assigned song 3 times through daily, at least 5 days a week.

·      Students under 18 years of age who have been taking lessons for more than 6 months are expected to perform at recitals.

·      If a student opts out of lessons mid-month or with money still on their lesson account, all unused lesson fees go into the KP Music Studio account to pay for additional teaching materials. Refunds are not given.

·      If a student forgets their book(s) for their lesson, they may borrow from the studio for that lesson. If the books are forgotten for 3 weeks in a row, the parent will be asked to purchase another book to be left at the studio for their student to use.

·      Lesson spots are held for paying customers only – if a student chooses to “take a break” for any reason, their spot will not be held for them without payment. Payment for lessons is due on the first lesson of every month.

·      KP Music Studio follows Graham ISD for all weather-related delays and closings. Refunds and credits are not given for these missed times. If there are significant missed days due to weather, there will be a studio-wide make-up day later in the year.

·      You can earn free lessons by making referrals to your friends! Once a new student pays for their first month at your recommendation, you get a free lesson credit on your next month. There is no limit to this (if 10 new people sign up, you get 10 free lessons).

·      KP Music Studio audio/video-records all lessons for liability purposes.

·      KP Music Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
